POST-IT CUT-OUT CARICATURES | Mark Walter
Added May 5, 2006

One day, whilst diligently working, I was suddenly struck by the fleetingness of life, specifically the lives of the beautiful individuals cohabiting my office space. "I need to immortalize their likenesses post-haste," I gasped aloud. "Such comeliness must be preserved by any means necessary." I glanced about wildly, searching for the perfect artistic medium. Lo and behold, post-it's! They perfectly captured all the many details making up the visages and , yes, the very souls of my coworkers. Johnny's aristocratic, blue-veined, and paper-thin skin. His love of short-shorts and geometrically patterned T-shirts. The fist raised in heroic anger. His floppy, floppy hair, much like the English rent-boys of my youth. And Gwen's, um, microphone...
Forgive me if my thoughts should wander today as I spent the weekend dialing in my short irons. Somehow this whole escapade is very late eighties Paul Simon. I would like to see Chevy Chase rendered in White Out as a companion piece.

That Gwen looks so damn silly, Mark Walter! You so crazy, Mark Walter!
